A Century of Family Experience

I dedicate my 50 years in the tree business to the memory of my father, who gave more than 50 years of his own life to this work. Together, our years represent a century of family experience, sacrifice, and devotion. It fills me with great pride to celebrate 100 years in his honor.

Growing up as the oldest of eight children, life was not always easy. But through those years, my father taught me more than I could ever have asked for, and more than I could have learned from any book.

It began with the simplest tasks, raking leaves and dragging brush. Then came climbing trees, lifting heavy logs, chopping out stumps, and loading trucks. The work was hard, but my father believed that anything worth doing was worth doing with care. He took pride in doing things right, in being sincere with people, and in leaving behind work that spoke for itself.

Those lessons became part of me.

For more than six generations, our family tree has grown strong through hard work, perseverance, faith, and love for one another. Storms have come and seasons have changed, but the roots have remained.

Now, I see those same values living on through my son, Johnathan Charles. He grew up learning the principles that were passed down to me, just as I learned them from my father. I am proud to know that he will carry these traditions forward and help keep our family heritage alive, strong, and thriving for generations to come.

To reach this milestone is more than a celebration of years in business. It is a tribute to my dad, to our family, to the sacrifices made before us, and to every customer who placed their trust in our hands throughout the decades.

Above all, it is a tribute to my Heavenly Father.

Through every hardship, every long day, every sacrifice, and every blessing, God’s hand has been upon our family. He has shown us the meaning of perseverance, compassion, service, and love. His blessings have carried us farther than we could ever have traveled on our own.

When I look back over these 50 years, I do not simply see trees cut, branches carried, trucks loaded, or jobs completed. I see a family working side by side. I see lessons passed from father to son. I see sacrifice made out of love. I see roots planted deeply enough to endure generation after generation.

And through it all, I see the unwavering and mighty love of God.

It is one of the greatest honors of my life to celebrate this family legacy in memory of my dad, with gratitude for those who came before us, pride in those who carry it forward, and faith in the generations still to come.

Our work may be with trees, but our greatest legacy has always been our roots.
